LAVA - Live Acoustic & Visual Assessment
PDS employs some of the world’s most state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment. Our small diameter short distance comprehensive inspection equipment has the capabilities for live visual condition assessment and leak detection. Our pressurized pipe inspection and leak detection system is designed for 3” diameter water pipelines and above. The system is mounted onto pipework through a hydrant or a selection of fittings and/or “Hot-Taps”. This process makes access into the pipeline simple and cost effective. Access is done while the pipe systems stays live and pressurized and can handle pressures as high as 150psi.
TPA - Tonal Pipe Assessment
Non-invasive, condition assessment & leak detection for in-service metal, plastic, asbestos cement, and concrete pipes. TPA can determine wall stiffness, thickness, and strength, as well as change of material and any large areas of tuberculation.

We have installed over 100 thousand miles of water and sewer lines. We have built multi-million dollar custom homes to hundreds of semi-custom and tract homes. The data produced by our technology has many uses and can be invaluable. The data can be introduced into an existing GIS Program, “Scada” system or “GPS” program. It guarantees to locate a leak within 12 inches of its origin. It assesses the level of corrosion giving life acceptance of the pipelines and helping in directing capital spending. The videos and pictures this system provide are worth more than words. Each insertion produces vivid and HI-RES visuals and the hydaphones can hear a pinhole leak in as little as 15psi.

Together with the state of Hawaii, Pural Water Specialties, and the great staff at the Waiawa Correctional Facility - PDS inspected 4000 feet of the facilities main water system. We successfully inspected and recorded the pipeline to help with this emergency project. Scott and the prison team were amazing to work with and a great group of people. As always working with Pural is "Top-Knotch"
